Description
We create opportunity for artists to connect with one another at workshops, retreats, spiritual pilgrimages, regular home meetings and video conferences. When we gather we focus on a peer group experience and one-to-one coaching where everyone can contribute.
Every art piece raises practical challenges and questions
that a friend or partner likely cannot answer.
Our peers provide fresh ways of thinking, explanation of new methodologies, wisdom in navigating creative disagreements when collaborating, ideas for overcoming creative roadblocks, guidance on what to charge and insight into options for taking art to the marketplace.
Everyone has insights to share.
Our art often exists because we have to draw upon a physical part our body, like hands shaping a sculpture or breath filling an instrument. Always the decisions we make are connected to our story and the emotions we are feeling throughout the creative process.
To bring art to others is a vulnerable and courageous act that’s deeply personal.
Our peers provide understanding, empathy, reassurance and wise counsel.
As a Christ centered community we expect to see God at play in all that we do, shaping our lives and art through the interactions and experiences we have together. We believe God's love frees us from only ever knowing an imitation of our authentic self. Hearing His voice awakens our voice and the unique story we have to tell, bringing beauty and hope to the world around us.
God's Spirit empowers us to transform the culture in which we live.

PILGRIMAGE
Our 2023 spiritual pilgrimage
guided the wayfarers through
Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
In 2016, 2017 and 2019 the pilgrimage
took artists through the cities of
Paris, Lausanne, Rome and Florence.
